“The greatest sign of success for a teacher... is to be able to say, ’The children are now working as if I did not exist.” - Maria Montessori.
Blue Blocks does not have teachers. We have directresses. These are the people who will direct the children in their quest for learning and will pave the way for them to acquire it. We believe in not restricting the role of educators in the school environment to just teaching as the name teachers tend to suggest. Our directresses are friends and co-conspirators of the children in their adventures and experiments.
Each of our directresses is AMI trained professionals who understand the psychology of the child between 1 and 6 years. They observe each child and understand that the requirements of every child are different at different points of time. They give one on one time to the children every day and know each habit and quirk of the child like their own. The Directresses are the extended family and friend of the child who comes to Blue Blocks.
